Metroid Prime Hunters

Metroid Prime Hunters is the side quest of Samus for the Nintendo DS. A telepathic message speaking of an ultimate power draws Samus and six other hunters to the Alimbic Cluster in search of this power. Little do they all know that what waits for them is not pleasant.

Samus must stop the other hunters before they fall into the trap. Metroid Prime Hunters has great graphics, gameplay, and multiplayer modes. On the 1-5 scale, MPH gets a 4, because the one player mode is somewhat easy, yet really hard to complete 100%. Otherwise, it is an awesome game, probably the best multiplayer DS game I've ever played.

My Book

Hi again everyone! I just wanted to let everybody know that I am in the process of writing a book. If you know me well, you probably already guessed that it is a medieval adventure novel. I might post the prolouge, but don't expect it. Anyway, hope you all love the blog!

Eldest

Eldest is book number 2 in Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Trilogy(perhaps not a trilogy anymore, so says Paolini). Eragon continues his journey in the world of Alagasia, discovering his past and preparing for a future battle. He is trained to connect with his dragon and to truly be a team. His cousin, Roran, also plays a part in this book. At the end of Eldest, a dark secret is revealed to Eragon. Sorry! You'll have to read the book to find out what it is. And.........1-5 scale! Eldest scores a five! The book is nice and long and the story is compelling. You can expect a review of the third book a little while after it comes out (I have to read it first....duh).

Metroid Prime 3

Metroid Prime 3 is the last game in the Metroid Prime series. The name Corruption comes from the phazon that gets inside Samus. If you are not careful when using it, it will corrupt you. Dark Samus also returns and sends creatures to planets to spread the phazon corruption. Dark Samus is the final boss, so you finally defeat it...or do you? On the awesome 1-5 scale, Metroid Prime 3 gets a 5. The new Wii controls are awesome as well, so, obviously, I highly recommend this game.

Metroid Prime 2

The awesome sequel to the first Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes continues Samus's journey. Samus must travel between two worlds, one of light, and one of darkness, the latter being the recently created home of an enemy known as the Ing. The dark world, Dark Aether, can get pretty creepy at points. Although, the detail put into this game is incredible, especially for gamecube. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes recieves a 5 on the 1-5 scale for good story line and a good challenge.

Eragon:Movie

Ummmm, this was somewhat of a disappointment. Eragon the movie was obviously based on the book, Eragon, based being the keyword. The movie wasn't bad, it just didn't follow the book very well. Other than that, the action was great and so was the message. 1-5 scale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The movie of Eragon scores a 3, due to inaccuracy. Very frustrating.... although I'm hoping that they will make a movie of Eldest.

Metroid Prime

Ah, Metroid... This is one of my favorite game series. The very first first person shooter in the series, Metroid Prime starts off a great trilogy, which ironically is the Metroid Prime Trilogy...hmmm... Anyways, great game. Very challenging even on easy mode. I haven't even gotten a 100% complete yet. Hard to find things. Violence is minimal, and the action and storyline are great. Futuristic and space oriented, Metroid is the story of bounty hunter Samus Aran. Yes, she is a girl, accept it. She is an awesome girl though. Very skilled at what she does. Gameplay and graphics are great. Now for the awe inspiring.......1-5 scale! On the scale, Metroid Prime scores a............................................5! Sorry for the dramaticness... But anyway, highly recommended, and, as previous words inferred, there is a sequel!! Metroid Prime 2:Echoes will have a review soon as well. I CAN give hints for Metroid Prime, but don't expect me to reveal too much.

Eragon:Book

As many people know, Eragon is a great book, especially considering a 15 year old wrote it. Paolini is awesome! This mideival adventure novel is a great read, nice and long with a compelling storyline. I really enjoyed reading it. On a scale from 1 to 5(5 being the highest), I would give this book a 5. I strongly recommend reading Eragon if you haven't yet, and the cool thing is that there is a sequel! The great story of Eragon and Saphira continues in book 2, Eldest. Stay tuned for an Eldest review!

One More Thing!

Forgot something again! Grrr!! This is getting frustrating.... There will also be movie reviews, and if you have questions for me, I will be more than happy to answer them, given they are appropriate. Finally, that's all!

Forgot something!

Sorry, I forgot to tell you what the posts will be about! There will be video game and book reviews. Also, for some video games, I will put up "hint posts." You all can suggest a video game that you are struggling with, post it up, and I will give you a hint as to what to do where you are. I will try not to spoil much. I may not know some video games. Posts coming soon!!!

This place will soon be a lot better!

Hey, everyone! Just wanted to tell you all that soon this blogspot will have a lot of cool things on it. You should stay tuned, because I will add a post almost every day. Right now there will be several posts, so keep watching! I assure you will be satisfied. Nathan of the NSS Blog

Summer Reading Assignment Book 2

Another book that I read was The Giver by Lois Lowry. The protagonist, Jonas, lives in a world were everything is perfectly controlled. There are no cars, only bikes. Peoples' ages are forgotten after they become a "Twelve." During the "Ceremony of Twelve,"the new adults are given their job in the community. When Jonas is given a surprising and un-normal job, the job of receiver of memory, his life is changed forever. On the 1-5 scale, I rate this book at a 4. The storyline was great but the ending was a little confusing and the book was some-what short. I recommend this book to people who like adventure.

Summer Reading Assignment #1

For my summer reading assignment I read A Wrinkle in Time by Madelin L'Engle. It is the first of a series of 5 books. In it, the protagonist, Meg, meets up with three strange women, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Whatsit, and Mrs. Which. They take Meg, one of her friends, and her younger brother on a quest to find Meg's long lost father. On the way they encounter many dangers, including a mysterious creature called It. On a scale from 1-5 I would rate this book at a 2 because it was really confusing and not really engaging. I would recommend this book for people who like time travel and adventure.
